Portrait of Saxifraga in their photo-booth

Saxifraga Showroom 25

workshop, textile, installation, collaboration

2025

After their working period in the Vincentshop, fictional fashion brand Saxifraga (founded by Bas Steens and Esra Westerburgen) showed their new collection in their showroom during Tweedehands het Festival in Tilburg.

In an installation they presented scarves printed with materials from the Vincentshop and editorial images in which shop-visitors were starring. Next to the installation was a photo-booth where visitors could take their picture in their own Saxifraga-look.

On the last day of the festival Saxifraga gave a workshop in which participants created their own Saxifraga-scarf.
